NE250 2023 Day 9 – Station Road, Burghead

We were planning to stop at Portgordon but it was not to our liking, but as we came into the village along the coast Karen spotted some seals on the beach, we managed to park and upon crossing the road found hundreds of seals sunning themself’s on the sandy shore.

We stopped at Lossiemouth for some lunch but it was too busy to park in the car park, we ended up on a quiet side street with a lovely walk around the harbour to bars and restaurants.

We ended up at another free stopover at Burghead, a very short walk from the harbour overlooking the water.

NE250 2023 Day 8 – Banff Harbour

We headed along the coast to Portsoy to sample their famous ice cream, it was well worth the stop.

We then headed along to Bowfiddle Rock, although the main car park had a height barrier we were able to pull in out of the way and walk over to the rock formation, which was beautiful.
