We were originally going to stay at Kirkgate Park overlooking the lake but when we arrived the midges were so bad we had lunch then decided to move on, we ended up here at Inchcape Park very close to the harbour.
There are no facilities here and ( as far as i can see ) no payment required, there are clear motorhome parking signage explaining where you can and cannot park, sadly not all are able to follow the rules and a number of Motorhome’s had parked beyond the area permitted, it may seem harmless but its just another excuse for the disgruntled locals to get it stoped altogether.
Hardstanding reinforced grass areas for about 8 – 10 Motorhome’s overlooking the sea make for fantastic views in the morning as the sun rises.
A lovely easy walk into the town with plenty of shops to stock up or browse if required, I would definitely stop here again if in the area.
